About Me

me

I graduated from UNL in 1977.  I spent the next several years in the classroom teaching at East Butler Schools, Murdock Schools, and Fremont Elementary School.  I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Wayne State College in 1994.  I was the elementary counselor in David City for 11 years and moved to LPS in 2004. I worked at McPhee Elementary for two years and then came to Arnold in 2006.  I am married and have two sons.  My husband was a high school principal for many years and is currently employed at the State Department of Education.  My oldest son is married and works for Union Pacific in Omaha and his wife is also an elementary school counselor!  They have made me a very proud grandma!  My first grandson was born in April of 2012.  My younger son works for Speedway Motors in the marketing/E Commerce department.  I love spending time with my family.  We like to golf, play games, travel, cheer for the Huskers, and enjoy the great outdoors.  I personally love to read, work in my flowers, exercise, and shop!
