May Counseling

For the last quarter instead of Missing Skills Groups, I meet individually with students who have participated in Missing Skills.  Together we will work on a goal for the rest of the year and talk about what it will take to be successful next year at their new grade level.  The students do an excellent job of being able to identify their missing skill and think of ideas of how they can improve.

It is the time of year when I begin to report absences of 20 or more. You may  be receiving a call from me if your child has missed several days of school or have been tardy on a frequent basis.  Remember any absences of 20 or more have to be turned into the county attorney.  We want to work with our parents so it does not get to that level.  If you have other questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call.

If you are a Backpack Family you will be receiving a letter in the mail about summer food backpack distribution.  If you would like to continue to receive your weekly backpack you just need to fill out the form and return it to me so we can set you up for summer food delivery.  This is the first time the Food Bank has offered this option.  I am very excited that our families can continue to get a little boost in their food supply.
