The WordPress media uploader was changed with the upgrade to version 3.5 which LPS did over the 2012-2013 holiday break. The following video discusses the differences and demonstrates uploading both a PDF and a photo using the new uploader.
It’s nice to know if your web site is being read. There are a couple good ways to get visitor stats for your WordPress website at LPS. The first is Google Analytics. Analytics is a service that is available to all LPS staff as a part of our Google Apps for Education service. The second is Jetpack by WordPress.com. Jetpack offers quite a few features that can add some real power to your WordPress website, one of which is an easy way to see how many visitors you are receiving.
