ANNOUNCEMENTS

ATHLETE MEETING
Wednesday, August 3rd in school cafeteria
We will still meet for a morning run, and then after we will meet in the cafeteria. We want to update and confirm our roster; plan for first practice; check to make sure all paperwork is in and go over expectations and team rules. We do this because if it was done on first day of practice we would be there for three and a half hours. This is a MANDATORY meeting and if you are unable to attend you will need to make it up after practice on Monday.

FRIDAY PRACTICE:  MILE TIME TRIAL
This time trial is very important as we will use times to help with workouts the following week and to determine proper E-pace (which will continue to change as season continues). Every athlete must complete the mile in less than twelve minutes. If an individual has been running and is in fair condition this should not be a problem. After the time trial we will go for a long recovery.

SATURDAY PRACTICE
Practice: We will start early because of our early picture time. We want to get back in time to clean up a bit and get our uniforms on for pictures.

Parent Meeting: Parent meeting will be held in the East Gym at 8 a.m. This will done no later than 9 a.m. as that is when the next sport comes in for their meeting. Much will be discussed at this meeting so hoping for good attendance.
