- An adult walker needs to raise at least $25 and a student/child $10, in order to receive an LPS BackPack Extra Mile t-shirt.
- Use the LPS BackPack Extra Mile T-Shirt Order form to collect the names of the walkers on your team. The t-shirts sizes are: youth 6-8 (small), youth 10-12 (medium), youth 14-16 (large), youth 18-20 (x-large), adult small, adult medium, adult large, adult x-large, adult 2x-large, and adult 3x-large. T-shirts will be a red color for 2012.
- In order to receive an LPS t-shirt, each person, family or organization must have their own walker sponsor form.
- Walkers from previous years should feel free to wear backpack t-shirts from 2008, 2009, 2010 or 2011.
- Encourage walkers to convert any coin and cash collected to checks. Checks should be made payable to: Food Bank.
- Walkers should be collecting donations as they are pledged—don’t have them wait until the last minute. ALL money MUST be collected when the forms are turned back in to you.
- For locations with student walkers, it is highly recommended that their donations of $10 or more are turned in by the t-shirt deadline.
- The donations should be a flat amount, not so much per mile walked. The donations are collected in advance of the walk.
- Each walker, family or organization must have a walker sponsor form.
