Hawaii Trip Frequently Asked Questions

Hawaii Info 2017-2018– This document contains the payment schedule, hotel information, list of inclusions and price of the trip.

Hawaii Interest Form– If you have not made a decision about the trip but are interested, please get this to Mrs. Wilhelm asap so you can be included on the email list.

Hawaii Health Form– Required of ALL travelers (student or adult)

Hawaii Permission Form– Required of all STUDENT travelers

Hawaii Financial Agreement17-18– If you ARE going on the trip, please fill out and turn in to Mrs. Wilhelm ASAP.

LSW Hawaii Deposit 17-18– Fill this form out and attach with your payment every time you make a deposit

**In order for a student to attend the Hawaii trip, they must be enrolled in either band or orchestra for ALL of 1st semester in the 2017-2018 school year.  Freshmen Band students, this means you will do marching band term 1 and then concert band term 2.

Trip Insurance–

Any traveler(s) is/are welcome to purchase trip insurance on your own, completely separate to the cost of the overall trip.  Hawaii State Tours is quite generous when it comes to the need to cancel for one reason or another.  I was told that if someone must cancel their trip prior to 60 days before the trip, the company will give back all but the deposits made (for example, the company has to make flight and hotel deposits.)  This means you would likely get all but $500 or so back.  Adding trip insurance would alleviate any concerns about health, death in the family, or any other circumstances that may prevent you or your student from traveling after those 60 days prior to the trip.
If you would like to purchase trip insurance, there are 4 different options available to you.  Please look at the following website to view and choose your options.  If you would like to purchase trip insurance, you must do so directly from the website provided.  You will need to enter the username and password provided to login to our trip.
The dates of the trip are December 28, 2017-January 4, 2018.
