Hello!  My name is Alyssa Wilhelm and I started teaching at LSW in 2005.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from UNL in May of 2005.  At UNL I was involved in several musical ensembles such as: Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Marching Band, Big Red Express Pep Band, Jazz Ensemble II, Woodwind Quintet and Opera Orchestra.  I played flute/piccolo in the orchestra and band ensembles and I played alto sax in jazz band.

 

I earned my Master’s Degree in Music Education from UNL in 2012.

My husband and I married on 7/7/07 and we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon.  We were so fortunate to go back for our 10th Anniversary!

We have a Border Collie, Ella, who was named after jazz singer, Ella Fitzgerald.

On April 6, 2012, we had our first baby, Annaliese.  She is such a joy and our beautiful little girl!

On August 30, 2013, we had our happy baby boy, Gabriel.  He is always smiling and loves to talk!

On December 30, 2016, we welcomed our spunky daughter, Lily. Our house is full of energy and laughter! 🙂

                

I work with the Varsity Marching Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. I also teach Freshmen Jazz, Prep Jazz and Jazz I.
