O (Opener): Students answered a variety of scenarios, using WOW 3 vocabulary seen in Boy21.

ML (Mini Lesson): PERIOD 7: Ms. A finished reading aloud Chapter 21 in Boy21, while students followed along.

C (Core Lesson): Students participated in the Characterization Activity.  Students made groups of 2 or 3 and were assigned a character by Ms. A.  Each group then had to find five different character traits and evidence to support each claim.  Afterwords, students guessed each groups character.  This activity serves as a review to major and minor characters and their role in the book Boy21.
